You can take your beautiful mounts and/or wings and explore the entire world with no loading screen. You can fight in a kung-fu style combined wit magical skills.
| FINAL VERDICT:
Character creation is deep, with a lot of options. Classes aren't gender locked do some of the classes are locked to certain races. Classes are more defined to specific tasks and well balanced (tank, dps, healer)(Spiritshaper - the healer has low dps but incredible healing).
World is a very big open world with nice beautiful looking areas to explore and structures that gives users a very pleasant experience while exploring. Fantasy oriented, with details on every aspect, beautyful landscapes and diverse NPC' races.
Combat it’s kind of like Guild Wars 2’s action mode (remember telegraphs? elementalist skills based on 4 elements?). Revelation Online offer three different kinds of combat controls:
- classic normal tab target and point clicking style,
- something in between Action MMORPG and tab targeting,
- an assisted targeting system similar to Blade & Soul.
The annoying thing that I need to find out if I can turn off is this description window that extends from every skill from the skill bar.
You are able to reset your character stats with a small cost and distribute the points to what your class needs the most. Skill tree/braches. Life Skills, combat skills, flight skills. You are able to freely explore and master any skill you want. Double tap and hold W key - run fast, double tap and hold A or D keys - dodge, hit space key/jump and then double tap and hold W key - and you are flying.
Massive faction and guild-based PVP, open PVP, world bosses, tons of dungeons.
Quest line is so fun and diverse (story mode, adventure mode, puzzle mode-Tomb Rider style) with lot's of side quests. The blue circles on the map represents waypoint portals and the small red flags shows guilds castles occupied by the respective guild logo.
Revelation is the ultimate fantasy flying and exploring MMORPG. You receive your first set of wings automatically after hitting level 29 (quest line). Revelation gives players total freedom when it comes down to exploring and endless flight feature, explore underwater areas and guild castles. Freedom doesn't just stop here because players can also walk on water, jump above mobs during the fight, use fliyng skills,
Outfits and Wings are the best looking outfits in any MMORPG. The game offers all kinds of costumes (awesome outfits, various wings, accessories, hats, cosmetics, etc.) outfits can either be Wuxia-Theme (similar to martial art), Modern-Theme (Maid-outfit, nurse-outfit, pretty dress, formal Party Dress, street clothing,etc.), or Random-Theme (animals suit). You can mix and match outfit pieces and dye them in beautiful colors.
The game offers: complex crafting, fishing, housing, guilds (You can build and customize your own guild base, a gigantic instance region or island, where u can customize everything), favor with factions, mounts (first at lvl 19; ground mounts and flying mounts), mobile Auction House (from lvl 40), stal (personal store), relationship and marriage system, achivements and more.
Revelation Online turned out to be one of the best fantasy oriented mmorpg and I would recommend it.
The flying features alone is worth the experience since not many MMORPG's gives you a total open world and freedom when it comes down to flight features. By, by Aion!
